It's been a hell of a year and a half right? Our world is in pain and at times it feels like there's no escape.
We've spent the pandemic years in trauma. Let's get this straight. If you're currently feeling overwhelmed, if you're scattered and unmotivated, there's nothing wrong with you. If you're anxious, grieving and in fear, I want you to know, there is nothing wrong with you.
The priority right now is to heal. To honour your tenderness, your vulnerability, your discomfort and to do what you need to prioritise healing. Yours. Ours. The World. The Earth.
Because things are not the same as before and you know you want things to shift, both internally and externally. But when your mind is consumed with all the worries, overwhelm and uncertainty; when it’s spinning at 200 km/h telling you of all the ways things can go wrong, it leaves no space for YOU. Your mind becomes that all consuming negative voice, confusing you, stopping you in your tracks. Constantly questioning your decisions, doubting yourself, depleting your confidence, leaving you feeling drained, exhausted and disconnected. Taking a step forward is right there, yet you're often paralysed by decision fatigue, seeking external validation, comparing yourself and losing yourself in the process.
You want to do it all, but you don't know where to start. It's overwhelming. And draining.
One thing I can guarantee - you feeling stuck in your anxiety spiral is serving nobody.
There are so many things you want to do and and so many ways to contribute in line with your values - if only you could make space to figure things out; you know you're here to do more. You have felt times when life flows and you're showing up fully, but before you know it, you're back feeling depleted and defeated. You want to experience life more fully, but you keep hitting against the same wall: the anxious, overwhelmed voice in your head and the edgy feeling in your body that something is wrong.
SPACE TO BREATHE is about making space in your life beyond the anxiety you feel: space to breathe, to feel, to create, to flourish and thrive.
Space for YOU.
